This eco-friendly wedding channels music festival love

Thanks to our sponsor Unity in Glass for presenting this week's posts on Offbeat Bride. We love 'em, and think you will too...

Will and Heather turned their backyard in upstate New York into a mini music festival for their eco-friendly wedding last September. Pretty much every imaginable element of this wedding was DIY - the dinnerware was recyclable bamboo, the food included locally grown organic veggies (with vegan options), even the bride's kickass dress and veil were DIY. That veil - my stars, I want one. And I want a castle to go with it.

After Will and Heather's small, outdoor ceremony (where they exchanged wooden rings! How cool are they?), the party kicked off with a live band, local beer, and some hooping thrown in for good measure. Once everyone partied their asses off, I imagine they stumbled/army crawled gratefully to their tents, guided by helpful, handmade signs. After all, what's a music festival wedding without camping?
