Jewish weddings are such spectacular events to observe. From the grooms table to the Bedeken, the joy and the laughter, the tears at the Chuppah...a true emotional event. Jayde and Marc recently tied the knot at one of Joburg's finest wedding venues, Summer Place. A stunning venue and iconic in its own right. We met while on a traveling on a leadership program together in Israel. We spent the
year together, and upon completion of the program and after some time apart; Marc in
Australia and Jayde in South Africa, we were reunited again in Israel on a holiday andsubsequently our relationship blossomed during the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South
Africa.

Marc surprised me with a weekend getaway to New Zealand. Whilst in New Zealand,
Marc took me to a romantic beach Island (Wahiki Island), where Marc got down on one
knee and proposed on a quite beach, with beautiful vineyards as the backdrop.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The entire wedding was truly a dream come true. The atmosphere was electric and we
both had the most magnificent day. The highly for me was at the 'Beddekin', being Marc
for the first time in a few days. It was a very spiritual moment filled with lots of
excitement. I felt very blessed to have been married in South Africa and to have been
surrounded with all my loved ones, who truly made the day the most memorable, and
best day of our lives.

Have fun planning your weddings and try not to let the stress get to you. Just remember
it is only one night, certain things like food are not worth stressing over as you don't get
a chance to eat it any way. Even if things don't go exactly to plan it doesn't matter on the
day, as you are so filled with love and excitement. Just take a moment to be grateful and
enjoy your special day, it only happens once.
