Daisy is an award-winning master florist in London, who creates the most stunning bridal bouquets and wedding flowers.

While we love all things floral here at BM HQ, we often find it hard to put names on some of our favourite blooms, or describe a desired bouquet to a florist. So, the lovely Daisy is here to help, with some gorgeous bouquet recipes over the next few months.

First up, it's all about Autumn. Take it away, Daisy...

I'm super happy to introduce myself to the fabulous Bridal Musings readers! I have the pleasure of talking to all you wonderful people about my favourite aspect of the dayMy series is focusing on bridal floral trends - and revolving around the ever-changing seasons. From Spring, Summer, Autumn to Winter, flowers have a fantastic way of being stubborn, forced and impossible to get hold of (much like my boyfriend when the football is on). I'm here to show you there is always something stunning to choose to match your style and scheme, and to not be disappointed about not achieving your Peony dream. There's always an alternative and new ideas to try.
(minus the cake, venues, dress, stationery etc) - I have a true passion for the beautiful blooms that everyone loves to see on that special day. So my name is Daisy and I'm a florist (thank my mother for the ironic name). I'm the owner of Daisy Ellen floral design and love all things floral. My passion and flair revolve around creating designs to make all brides floral dreams a reality. I love a challenge, I love a bride's personal wedding style and I love to create exactly what they're looking for - all made out of fresh, scented beautiful blooms. A Bit About Myself

Autumn is such a beautiful season- filled with so many changes, rich For a fall bride, there are the most What's in it: Ranunculus Eucalyptus Autumnal leaves. stunning rich reds and burgundy colours available for your wedding day. The bouquet above is a lovely example. One thing thats truly scrumptious as we go into fall are hydrangeas. As most people know, hydrangeas are delicate creatures and love as much water as possible! As we change seasons, hydrangeas get more hardy and their colours start to turn into the more rustic and two tone shades. This bouquet is a perfect example with complimenting blooms and berries. What's in it: colours and yummy textures.

So my series starts with Autumn...

Now, I know from previous experience, not every bride is a fan of the rich plum colours. Which is why I thought, why not focus on a non-traditional fall bouquet? This design is one I created for the first day of Autumn and as you can see, it's not a conventional autumnal bouquet. With very subtle tones and a pastel colour palette, you can still match your flowers to your scheme and style. I ' m a great believer of making the flowers work for you and not just settling on what is the norm.
