This eerie and atmospheric bridal editorial really caught my eye. It gave me all the feels. Smoke bombs, birds of prey and stormy skies really set the scene. And teamed with beautiful styling, elegant gowns and show stopping cakes it all looked so very amazing.

"Davy and myself know each other for a long time, we met 5 years ago when both starting our business. Davy as a wedding planner, myself as a wedding and portrait photographer. We worked together for a few weddings, and it was always very nice, so we came up with the idea to organise a very special styled shoot. We didn't want to create something very neat and picture-perfect, but we liked the concept of something more moody, dark and whimsical. That's when we started to think about predator birds, and lots of smoke. We shot 2 looks. The darker one with the birds, was an amazing experience. Lauren, our model, didn't fear the owls at all, it was amazing to watch them pose. The mood of the day was actually just what we wished for, cloudy and moody, with the constant treat of rain...In the afternoon, when the sky cleared up, we went for a more natural bohemian look, and Davy set up a beautiful little table to create a natural forest theme."
