From Jacob of Brumley & Wells Photography: "It always surprises me, when I escape the bustling chaos of a city and venture into the wilderness, how quickly the landscape changes, how suddenly I feel free. In that moment, I always wonder why the whole city isn't coming with me, which is exactly what I was thinking as our team crossed the George Washington Bridge into the dense forests of the Catskills on our way to Lake Minnewaska.
We needed that serene and wild beauty to properly showcase Samuelle Couture's dresses and the beautifully crafted florals of Boston Pollen. It felt right, and the locations continued to inspire us and direct our performance, chasing the light until sunset and ending dress free in the lake. In a way, we had some sense of direction for utilizing the water. Mostly, though, we were swept up by the beauty of it all until we had to jump in. That's what wild beauty does, it calls you out and beckons you to jump in."
