From designer Kyla Gold Weddings: "I'm excited to share this dreamy seaside inspiration shoot celebrating marriage equality. I worked with a fabulous team of Northern California vendors in a remote sea cove in Half Moon Bay. Recently I branched out on my own to start planning/designing weddings and excited to be helping same-sex couples create their dream weddings. I found there is a lack of inspiration specifically for same-sex couples seeking a refined fine art wedding style. Therefore the team and I wanted to create a fresh take on an elegant and romantic bridal shoot. The vision for the editorial was to celebrate femininity and the beauty of the sand and sea. I drew inspiration for the color palette from the flowing grey and blues of the ocean, accented with the soft nudes of sandstone and sparkling gold sand. Deep indigo linen cloths adorned the table, making the china and florals really pop. When selecting the dresses for the brides, we wanted to show how two brides could coordinate and compliment each other's looks, but still assert their individual style and personalities."
