The Simple Things - A Most Curious Wedding Fair Styled Shoot

Most Curious Wedding Fair is hell bent on bringing the modern, free spirited bride inspiration and indeed options and answers to help make the coolest UK couple's big day, a true reflection of them. This takes places not only in the form of the 180 contemporary, design-led and expressive vendor strong show in London on 11-13 March and Norwich on 20 March. But also through inspirational photo shoots, put together by the show's wonderful curators, that combine fresh and innovative ideas with beautiful photography and styling.

One such beaut is this laid back, modest and sweet little shoot that is in collaboration with some of this year's Most Curious exhibitor's: Ann Marie Faulkner Millinery, Lee Garland Wedding Photography, Palais Flowers, Minna Bridal and Portraits Hair and Make Up Styling. What a line up indeed!

Simple, considered and artful were the key words for this shoot so working with photographer His soft muted style, alongside florist Lee Garland, who has shot for Kinfolk and the Guardian interiors alongside his wedding work, was a bit of a no brainer. Palais ' blousey blooms, with crisp white and blushy tones gave that exact sort of space-for-the-eye Scandinavian style vibe that was intended. Becky Hoh, the creative director of Most Curious also strung the laid back green foliage hanging garlands, sourced by Palais, as a simple, evergreen austere simple, style backdrop.

Minna bridal (and the sister brand indiebride) is RIGHT up any Festival Bride's alley. Affordable Bohemian leanings, mixed with Minna's real and true (Minna herself is Finnish) poised, unfussy Scandinavian approach is a heady perfect mix!

Cool East London designer Ann Marie Faulkner Millinery also revealed some pieces from her new 2016 collection, including the incredible pressed flower veil and Grecian style gem stone head band.

Portraits hair and make up kept Kirsten (of MOT Models)'s vibe very pared back too, with a definite brow of course, but fresh and pinky like Palais's flowers. Accompanied by the classic but beautiful, soft braided look we have come to know and love.

The woolley jumper was actually Kirsten's own, and was totally pinched on the day to bring the laid back Olivia Palermo meets windswept, rugged island, textured and layered bridal look.

It took about two hours to pull together on the day and shoot, a definite case of the magic happening and also simple forms creating a simple aesthetic, creating a simple task! And this is something the Most Curious definitely feel is a vibe the coolest brides will be going for this year.

Most Curious Wedding Fair takes place at the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane on 11-13 March and 20 March at St Andrews Hall, Norwich.
