London Fashion Week: Catching Up with Caroline Issa at Topshop on a Very Busy Day

No one's asking you to feel badly for fashion people who have to (get to!) hustle, rush, lose sleep and miss meals to catch dozens upon dozens of beautiful dresses, coats and separates during the industry's twice-yearly around-the-world tours of designers and collections, but the truth is, it is a hustle.

When we saw Nordstrom Signature collaborator Caroline Issa catching a bite to eat at Topshop's pre-show cafe before taking her seat, we got a look at her day's schedule-charmingly, hardcopy only; she is a magazine editor after all -and really, it might even make a busy mother of three and a cardiac surgeon conjure up some empathy.

How does she stay sane and on top of things with overlapping appointments and a totally packed day?

" I crank up the music in the car that shuttles me around to make sure there is a release of all the energy you gain after a great show," she told us.

Beyond that, all you can do is be grateful for brands like Topshop, who are appreciated in these circles not just for their easy to wear pieces, but for their healthful hospitality.
