When Kenzie + Collin began planning their big day, they wondered if it would be possible for a "Sophisticated Hippie" bride and a "California Cowboy" groom to find a wedding style that represents them both. With just one glance at the photos below by She Wanders Photography, we say they achieved that and more with their stunning celebration designed by the amazing Crosby + Jon at Kenzie's family's charming resort, the Estancia La Jolla in La Jolla, California.
Krista and Regina of Crosby + Jon were up for the challenge to creatively combine boho chic with a country western twist, working with Donna Urban Events for coordination + to further flesh out the design. With unique rental pieces from Archive Rentals, a setting came together that was at once colorful, unique, playful + fun.

Emma of Archive Rentals shares, The couple chose to have a garden ceremony in Estancia's authentic Spanish courtyard. Over 200 guests filled rows of mixed rustic farm chairs from Archive Rentals. The couple said their vows beneath a romantic custom teepee, trimmed with billowing lace and trailing botanicals in the couple's color palette of plum, mustard yellow, apricot and deep coral... vibrant hues that were woven throughout the entire event.
Krista Jon for Archive knocked it waaay out of the park with the wild rust-hued arrangements seen throughout the ceremony space + entire event.

After the ceremony, guests strolled to an indoor/outdoor reception area where they signed unique guest books upon entry: a white guitar (to later hang in their home) and an oversized wine vessel, custom made by the Bride's family winery. Bluegrass music set a celebratory tone as family and friends greeted the newlyweds with signature cocktails in hand: a whiskey mule inspired by Colin and a vodka pink lemonade spritzer by Kenzie.
As guests made their way to the ballroom for dinner, the bohemian vibes continued. The designers from Crosby + Jon decided to "bring the outdoors in" and filled the ballroom with live trees; strung market lights; and constructed wooden pergolas over the head table. The trees, lights and pergolas not only helped give space an outdoor feel, but also helped a vast room feel like a cozy, intimate space. Rustic wooden tables were styled with colorful Southwestern patterned runners, copper charges, and glistening amber and amethyst goblets. The real stars of the table were floral centerpieces byKrista Jon for Archive featuring big lush blooms and a bounty of seasonal harvest picks including squash, eggplant and pumpkins. After a traditional cake cutting, the guests were treated to an impressive feast of desserts displayed in farm crates.
