Wedding Day Cake Pops

Wedding Day Cake Pops

We love how much pep cake pops can add to a wedding sweet table. Here are a few ideas to tempt your sweet tooth!

Have Your Cake

You can have a wedding cake for cutting, and serve cake pops in lieu of a larger wedding cake. Although, don't assume that this is necessarily a more budget-friendly option. Cake pops are incredibly time consuming to produce, so you can expect a price tag that reflects the extra work.

Colorful Design

Serve cake pops in different shapes and flavors and decorate them in the same color palette for a really pretty statement. For example, the cake pops above are accompanied by marshmallow pops in the background.

Pretty in Pink

Whether you are hosting a bridal shower or finding treats for the wedding sweet table, pink is a very popular color. Mix with white cake pops (pink velvet pops; above, left) or top with sparkling metallic sugar for a blush and gold color scheme.

S'mores to Go

S'mores are practically a rustic wedding staple. Their only downside? They can create very sticky hands (which doesn't go well with an expensive wedding dress). Serve s'mores cake pops instead for all of the flavor without the mess.

Themed Details

Whether you want little hedgehog friends for your woodland wedding (above, left) or strawberries (above, right) for your farm event, cake pops can support your theme and add whimsy to your decor!

Favorite Flavors

Do you have a favorite cake flavor that isn't always a crowd-pleaser? Whether you love carrot cake (above) or German chocolate, sometimes what's near and dear to our own sweet tooth isn't universal. Cake pops allow you to serve those favorites in more limited quantities.

With or Without Sticks

When designing your sweet table, it might be easier to arrange cake balls (cake pops without the sticks) than cake pops. These delish funfetti cake pops above are a cute example of these truffle-inspired goodies.

Lunchbox Nostalgia

Cake pops can also give your wedding sweet table a much needed boost of personality. For a fun touch, go beyond the standard chocolate and vanilla with childhood classics, such as these oatmeal creme pie cake pops above.

Portable Desserts

If you love dessert half as much as we do, you might be having a difficult time narrowing down what to offer your guests. Cake pops give you the possibility of serving a little bit of everything, like yummy cheesecake (above, left) or even cakes that taste like a caramel apple (above, right).

Bite-Sized Donuts

Maybe you are having a brunch reception. Or perhaps you just don't like cake. For whatever reason, take the cake pop in a different direction by making donut hole "kabobs." Decorate with sprinkles or on dynamic sticks like these gold glitter arrows (above, left).

Pie Pops

Particularly in summer when fresh fruit is bountiful, pie pops are another tasty choice. You can go simple and rustic (above, left) or really precious with lattice crusts (above, right).
