I recently visited the breathtaking Cap Ferrat, The Beverly Hills of The French Riviera and I can't imagine a better destination to tie the knot! Today's wedding held at the Royal Riviera Hotel is just sublime.

Ingrid & Michael along with their family and friends celebrated their big day in style on the Côte d'Azur with sun, champagne, love and wonderful cuisine. The French Riviera (or Côte d'Azur) is the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France. It includes famously glamorous beach resorts such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes, and the independent microstate of Monaco.

There's not a part of the French Riviera that isn't beautiful, not only is it perfect for a destination wedding but it's also perfect for a luxury honeymoon too! I'll now pass you over to the very talented Haute Wedding Planners who will be walking you through Ingrid & Michael's big day...

Sparkling azur blue waters, clear blue skies, and warm sunshine...in mid-October on the French Riviera! It's a well-kept secret that fall on the Côte d'Azur is THE best time to marry in this highly sought after geographical location.

Ingrid & Michael, originally from the mid-west, but now living in NYC, celebrated with 60 of their friends & family in a seaside village not far from Nice. Guests arrived a few days prior to the wedding day to take advantage of a mini-French vacation on the coast: meandering the cobblestone streets of local villages, soaking in the sunshine on beautiful squares while sipping a glass of rosé, shopping at the chic boutiques, hanging by the pool, or at the beach... there was plenty to do before the big day!

On the wedding day Ingrid was very relaxed and all smiles. She got ready in her room at the Royal Riviera Hotel with her bridesmaids which of course included champagne in PJ's! They had a great time with photographer Christin from RivRose Photography while River shot Michael and the guys a few doors over!

Before the ceremony guests lingered on a wooden deck by the pool under the palm trees while listening to an all-women's string quartet. The ceremony itself was in the gardens of the hotel overlooking the sea. Ingrid looked gorgeous and so happy when she walked down the aisle on her father's arm. Hervé Frezal made an incredible floral arch under which the bride and groom exchanged rings...and tears of joy!

After the ceremony guests walked 300m under palm trees along the seaside to the reception location. The Rotonde is an architectural masterpiece from the Belle Epoque era. The majestic circular pavilion is listed as historical monument with sculpted columns, bay windows, and smiling angels overlooking the marina. The female musicians traded in their wooden violins from the ceremony for electric ones and played modern pop tunes during the outdoor cocktail hour.

Once the sun set and the sky turned from a golden rose color to twinkling stars guests moved from the outdoor veranda into the elegant dining room adorned with stunning tall centerpieces composed of predominantly white and green blooms. A champagne color theme was weaved into the décor with tableware and glassware lined in a soft gold trim, vintage votive and base vases...

The speeches were one of the many highlights of the evening: funny, witty, heartfelt, and original! Michael's speech to Ingrid was phenomenal: he re-enacted scenes from her favorite TV shows but by placing themselves and their personal story as the main characters. The team at Airsnap Video captured these magical moments that will be re-lived over and over again!

The party really kicked off when the hot British band Brightlights got the guests up onto the dance floor! They rocked the house for 3 sets and the guests loved it! The party didn't wind down until 2:30am.
