Rustic Organic Wedding Shoot In The Canadian Rockies - Weddingomania

Have you ever been in the Canadian Rockies? Even if you haven't, today's photos captured there by Kim Payant Photography will make you really want to explore this place. It looks especially gorgeous in spring, and that's when the creative folks decided to shoot a wedding in a Creekside Villa nearby. This venue itself with unique rustic and modern aesthetic brought a lot of inspiration. The very first point of their design was this wall made of 125 y.o. barn wood, which they decorated with simple circles adorned with greenery and white blooms. The other décor details of this wedding were as much balanced as this simple yet elegant backdrop. There's nothing overly feminine, rather pretty rustic and organic. I love the abundance of different textures here: both wooden and metallic details with greenery décor here and there look incredibly refreshing and utterly stylish, while white sequined tablecloth adds a touch of glam and sparkle and leather menus give the table settings masculinity. As for the wedding cake, its textural design and natural white and dusty grey colors really remind us of the Canadian Rockies, don't you think? For extra chic they've put it on a classy vintage stand and decorated with greenery, small candles and antlers around. The same idea is also replicated in aisle design. I also love the fashion choice for the bride and the groom. Her dress from Anna Campbell has rather a simple silhouette, but the embellished top and straps make it contemporary yet elegant. As for the groom, his suit is quite traditional, but I love that he chose brown shoes with a rustic flair instead of classic black ones. I can go on and on describing the awesome details the shoot has, but let now the photos do the talking. Scroll down to see them all and get inspired!
