We've fallen hard for Bride Jane's stunning, wild bouquet - but just wait until you see the rest of this romantic and whimsical celebration! Wearing a vintage-inspired Juliet cap veil, she wed husband Jeff in a sweet outdoor ceremony where the pair shared their own vows. They then celebrated with 100 loved ones at a beautiful al fresco reception featuring a giant DIY paper moon backdrop, farm tables, string lights and plenty more gorgeous florals.

When asked what traditions they followed, we had to share the story of Jane's 'something old'. She tells us: "my friend Sarah's mother, Belinda, gave me a very special gift at my shower. It's a very sweet tradition itself and served as my something old. It was a small sachet with two pennies - one for the year I was born, and one for the year Jeff was born. Traditionally, it is good luck and I pinned it on my bouquet wrap." She and Jeff also decided against a first look. Instead: "we opted for the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony. I'm so glad we did it that way. It added a special excitement and anticipation to the day."

The Ceremony

Your ceremony in three words. Non-traditional, natural, personal.

Are there any DIY details you'd like to tell us about? I found an old wine riddling rack that we used to display handmade paper cones filled with lavender to toss during the recessional. It smelled wonderful!

Why did you choose this location for your ceremony? We knew we wanted to be outdoors. It was one of the very first places we looked at and we loved it right away because of the casual, natural flow. It felt tranquil and intimate.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding ceremony? Walking down the aisle surrounded by family and friends and seeing Jeff there waiting for me. It was quite surreal.

What was your ceremony music? Family and the flower girls walked down the aisle to California by Paz Lenchantin. I walked down with my Dad to I Found A Reason covered by Cat Power. Our recessional was Just Can't Get Enough by Depeche Mode.

Jane's brother, Joe, constructed this vintage-inspired paper moon photo booth. The shot of them sitting in the moon is one the couple's favorite photos of the whole night - and ours!

Look at those roses! We love how they included them everywhere, from the bride's hair and bouquet to just about every surface of the reception. With flowers like that, how could you not?

The Reception

How would you describe your reception? A casual, yet magical outdoor summer celebration with our closest family and friends.

What inspired you when you were planning your wedding? We're both inspired by nature and simplicity. I work in floral and event design and Jeff works in music so we combined our talents to create an understated, organic, and romantic atmosphere. I'm smitten for early 20th century vintage, so there were hints of that throughout as well.

Brown glass apothecary bottles were filled with roses on the tables - such simple 'vases' let the natural beauty of the flowers really shine.

What type of cake or dessert did you serve? Our cake was lemon poppyseed with cream cheese filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was so light and refreshing for a warm summer night.

What was the best advice you received as a bride? Get a day-of coordinator! Letting someone else deal with the running of the day helps you two to be in the moment from the beginning to the end. There is no doubt the day will fly by, but if you embrace however the day may unfold, you will relish every second of it and have memories to cherish forever.

If you had it to do over again, is there anything you would do differently? Nada.
