On what could have been a midsummer night's dream, the caprices of fate collided the paths of Nathalie and Andrew on a terrace in Ottawa. Up until that point they had never formally met, having previously only exchanged glances around their shared workplace. That night, things changed irrevocably when Nathalie spoke the time-honoured line, "don't I know you from somewhere?" The rest is living history.Once the ring was slid on her finger, one of the first big decisions was to choose the perfect location for their engagement session. To symbolize love, hope, and new beginnings, spring was always going to be the backdrop for the engagement shoot.

"This couple came to me looking to do their engagement shoot in a 'secret' crab apple blossom field, here in Ottawa," shares photographer Tracy of Grace & Gold Studios, who brings us this beautiful images. "Their natural, boho look and style matched perfectly with the gorgeous backdrop. We waited patiently for Canada's long winter to end, and for the blossoms to show. We spent a warm, early spring evening shooting this session in the golden light."

Lovely Nathalie wore a flowy white Joanna August dress, opting for neutral tones to complement the bright pink blossoms. Showpony Hair styled her locks in a half up, half down style that is perfect for a casual, romantic stroll amongst the apple blossoms. Andrew, her handsome fiance, wore a light blue Hugo Boss shirt which looked stunning against the backdrop. Their sweet apple blossom engagement photo session resulted in huge smiles all round!
