Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

I wasn't very interested in him at first, but after we had our first cup of coffee together and soooooo many laughs I couldn't go to sleep. I think that is what you call "falling in love". His lips touched mine for the first time on Clifton beach- too many butterflies all at once. Am I in love? After 7 years I could not have asked for a better man to be my life-long companion. Yes we are 2 very different people on this BIG round ball we call earth and I believe everything happens for a reason, and YOU are definitely the best choice I have ever made in life.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

I was so relieved when it FINALLY happened...It was just the 2 of us and my parents (which means the world to me) - it was exactly the way I wanted it. We were on a game drive at Bushmans Kloof, it was such a rainy day, but they say, it is only a blessing if it rains ;) The most amazing fireplace and food awaited us :). It was just perfect.

The Big Day | What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Being so happy on that day and seeing everyone together, having fun and being there to celebrate one of the most special days in our lives.

Describe your wedding day in one sentence

We wanted a relaxed and comfortable wedding and not so much traditional. We kept on looking for something different.
We also wanted to reflect who we were and wanted everyone to enjoy and have a fun time with us. We wanted to make it special for them as well.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides?

It is the Happiest day ever.......You cant change anything on that day anymore.

Take a few minutes and breath. Enjoy every second.
If you see or want something you like, get it, do not wait for something better to appear.
Start planning as soon as possible.
Make sure you save up enough.
Try and keep in your budget.
Do a little bit everyday or at least try.
Once something is done, tick it off your list and do not think of it again.
And YES you will always need some extra money a week before the time, even if you are 100% in your budget ;)
