Do we have any Dancing With the Stars fans out there? What about Beyoncé? (Is that even a question?) Well, today we're sharing the ultra-cool engagement session of DWTS pro Mark Ballas, and singer-songwriter BC Jean! How does Beyoncé fit into the mix? Well, BC Jean is known for writing B's hit song, If I Were a Boy. So cool, right?!

BC + Mark are both incredibly talented artists, so when they contacted Syd of London Light Photography - she knew they had to do something creative, magical, + downright cool. Syd, the photographer, tells us We wanted something edgy + bohemian-inspired for their engagement session, and I found that at Wolf Feather Honey Farm; the space was complete with its very own teepees! I teamed up with Jake Duke Studios and Soiree Design and Events to create an organic and rich blend of mixed metals, cozy textures, lush greenery, and jewel tone florals. Celebrity stylist, Monique Lauren, came in and made the edgy, bohemian daydream even sweeter.

Wedding Signs Designs brought some vintage records to the shoot and decorated them with her darling calligraphy script. Such a fun idea!

So dreamy... BC's engagement ring is by Fernando Rodriguez.

The photographer shares An hour into the session, BC's parents stopped by with her pup, Hendrix. The whole gang was there! What made this engagement session so memorable was the incredibly warm spirited atmosphere. It was more like a party - Old Fashioned drinks for everyone! The engagement shoot ended with a jam session... Mark picked up his guitar and BC graced us with her melodic voice.

Hello sultry!! Hair + makeup artist, Kimi Messina, absolutely nailed each look for the session... And that wardrobe. My goodness!
