For the bride that loves nature, hiking on wooded trails, and exploring the mountainside - could there be a more perfect place to say your vows than in the forest? There's something so magical about being surrounded by evergreen trees - especially in the fall and winter. There's a stillness, a distinct beauty that cannot be found elsewhere. Inspired by this, along with the phrase, "winter is coming," Hazelwood Photography teamed up with Luxe Event Productions, Fiore Floral Design, and Be Inspired PR to create the ultimate fall forest wedding!

Set in the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge, is a private and practically make-believe venue called Bridal Veil Lakes. The producer of this shoot, Leila of Be Inspired PR tells us We couldn't imagine a more perfect setting for our dark and ever so moody greenery-inspired shoot. We really wanted to capture the feeling of "winter is coming," and to do that, we created a mix of romance and stillness. This really made the whole concept flow together with a distinct moody tone.

The florals by Fiore Floral Design definitely reflect the forest environment. When in a natural setting, we're big fans of complementing the beauty and playing off the landscape!

How gorgeous is the modern, black + white invitation by Smthng New? The antique rose frame is especially stunning!

Dark, moody, and oh so perfect. The gold and black accents from Classic Vintage Rentals give this tablescape a luxe feeling, even in the wooded landscape.

No need for table runner - a spread of foraged greenery will do just fine!

Simple + modern. This three-tier masterpiece is by Lightning Cupcakes.

Playing up the moody vibes, makeup artist Olivia Hawthorne + hairstylist Brittany Blanchard made the bride look like the queen of the forest. How gorgeous + sultry is this look?

Again, looking to the natural environment for inspiration, the team added a crystal crown by Howling Moon UK, for good measure.

How striking is the bride's lace gown from Mon Amie Bridal Salon, especially when contrasted against the black bridesmaids dresses from Azazie? SO GOOD!!

Last, but certainly not least - this sumptuous teal velvet settee was the perfect addition to contrast the natural environment. A huge thank you to the team behind this shoot for creating such dreamy inspiration!
