I was trying to explain to Doug when he was here about wedding photography. I’m certainly not the best or most experienced photographer in the world, country, state, county, etc, but I also know that based on the amount of work I get, that I must be doing something right too. I was telling him it’s not just about photographing them down the isle, or capturing candid moments as they eat cake. Sometimes when you don’t have a lot to work with, you have to create with what you’re given. Now I got in a argument discussion a couple years ago about the differences between ordinary wedding photographers, and those that shoot those Platinum weddings. I don’t care what you say, if you’re shooting a wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore on the coast of Santa Barbara with a gorgeous bride, studly groom and they have a $100k budget, your photos WILL be better, on whole than the wedding being stag
