I'd gone to check out the ceremony site two days before the wedding and it was such a gorgeous location. I went at 4pm on a sunny day and the light was absolutely magnificent. When wedding day came around, the forecast had completely changed and it was supposed to pour. Luckily, we had the tree canopy to shield us a little bit. I had this shot planned out in my head and it was supposed to be lit entirely by the sun from behind, but with the rain, I had to change it up a bit. I think it worked out even better.. you can see the droplets of rain which have caught the light from my speedlight.. so magical!
