I allow the mix to stay over my nails for 5 minutes, then I rinse with warm water, & I also use a nail cleaning brush for he back of my fingernails. Re~apply oil & massage it in, I allow it to penetrate then I apply my basecoat. You can also wash hands before applying your base coat.
