Hybrid Material for Repair of Tears to Tendon and Abdominal Wall Tissues - Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute Department of Biomedical Engineering has received FDA clearance to implant in patients a novel implantable “scaffold” on which cells can grow to promote healing of tears in the shoulder (rotator cuff) and abdominal wall (hernias).
