No Strings Attached

Make sure you are really in love with the person you marry before you get married. Married life, while appearing glorious only complicates things and really brings the true person out. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, but the one realization I've come to is the happiest marriages contain trust, respect, patience and space. Expect the unexpected, expect bad times, enjoy the good. Just realize what your goal is, and don't let the little squabbles get in the way of that goal. I just want to end up with my old lady in a small house in the middle of the forest/woods/beach being boring and old together. Need to work in reverse to get there, and those hormone-infested arguments of selfishness will someday just be laughed about.
