Next up on our #14DaysOfLove series is Elyse and Shaun, whose love story started back in college. "We became best friends and fell in love on the beaches of Santa Barbara. Over 7 years of dating, we graduated college and travelled to over 30 countries together. In April 2015, Shaun took me back to one of the places I fell in love with him - La Jolla Shores in San Diego. After dinner one night, we took a walk during sunset as this was one of my favorite places. He took me to a cliffside to take in the sunset. We both hadn’t been back to this location in 7 years. As Shaun helped me up, he told me how much I mean to him and he got down on one knee. I couldn’t believe it. I happily said, “Of course!” Fast forward to our wedding ceremony on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, I remember we sped off into the sunset on a boat, danced the night away with our family and friends, and celebrated our newest favorite adventure together: marriage." - Elyse and Shaun Goldstone |
