Martha Stewart Weddings

Our next couple's story for our #14DaysofLove series started with a shared interest in faith. Michael and Melanie met in their junior and senior years of college at their on-campus ministry. They started spending time together with groups of friends at school during the spring, then they both moved to Portland for the summer. Melanie moved for an internship and Michael grew up there. It was during that summer that they began to spend quality, one-on-one time together through hikes, going to church, eating out, and adventuring. Melanie eventually ended up falling in love with Michael (even though she didn’t realize it until later). "To me, love means that I want to make sacrifices for her even when it’s not in my best interest. I’m happy to endure hardships for her good and want to see her succeed in life.” Michael + Mel |
