"Ryan asked me on a fancy date (we do this often so it wasn't out of the ordinary), so we got all dressed up and went to dinner. Afterwards, we walked about town and decided to stop and take a picture. At that point, I could tell something was up -- I could just feel Ryan’s body language change. He started to tell me how much he loved me and how he couldn't imagine living life alongside anyone else. All I could hear was his voice, our hearts beating, and the rain falling softly around us. It was straight out a scene from Pride & Prejudice and all I kept thinking is “Oh my gosh this is really happening”. I was super excited. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a wooden box, got down on one knee and asked me to be his bride and his wife. I immediately got down on his level, and threw my umbrella behind me. I saw the glistening diamond ring in his hand and we just hugged and kissed and cried. He put the ring on my finger and then we stood up and he twirled me around. In that moment, it started to snow. It was the first snow of the year and it was absolutely magical..."
