"A friend of mine is a photographer and has asked me to help her with shoots plenty of times before, so when she asked me to help her with a shoot for "Explore Minnesota", I was all for it. She made a big deal out of it and suggested I get a new outfit – again, I didn't think twice. On the day of, we went all around Minneapolis shooting and when we got to Como Conservatory, Saige told me she'd scouted stairs that would be great to shoot at. As I started walking down them, I noticed rose petals all over them and I immediately said, "aw! a couple must have just had their engagement pictures taken here”. A second later, I looked up and saw Kevin standing at the bottom of them. He was smiling ear to ear and was holding something in his hand. I looked at him, perplexed, and then looked back down at the roses. When I looked back up again, I was already crying..." Photo by @lahzehphotography
