"Mariely and I were friends in high school and when prom came around, I decided to ask her to go with me (just as friends... or so I thought at the time). So one day, as we often did, we were hanging out at our local park, sitting on a random bench, and I decided that it was as good a time as any to ask. I carved "prom?" on the bench and thankfully she said yes. 10 years later, I decided to bring her back to the same bench, but this time I carved "Marry Me?" there instead.
