I am seeing so many beautifully crafted work stations/nooks in the #texas homes I’ve been touring. It seems like a necessity when designing functional homes for families, to have a command center away from a formal “office”. This was our intent here too! It was important for us to have a desk area near the kitchen/family room as a little homework spot for the girls or command center for my day to day to-do’s. The walnut shelving tied into the kitchen cabinetry nicely. And my favorite part? That pop of red in the pendant cable that tied it all together! //
