Sarah and Diego asked for a few photos by the stream that runs through the DuPont residence known as #Winterthur. I tried lining up a shot with them on the bridge and couldn’t get it to work. I tried finding a good shot while I was on the bridge and they were down by the river. No luck. I then asked them to walk down to the other end of the bridge, climb down to the water and find a spot to spend a couple minutes together. I had to make this third attempt work, and I knew the exact shot I wanted once I seen where the two of them were standing. It was just going to be a little tricky making it work, as I climbed down into the water and under the bridge. We had already spent more than two hours together capturing moments of just the two of them together. Sure, I could have easily stayed dry and went with one of the first two shots. Whether it’s the first shot of the day or the last, I know what my clients hire me for... and it’s not the easy shots. Their faces lit up as I showed them the back of the camera...
