Why do bridal hair and make up artists cost more than a regular appointment? - To be honest, it's a fair enough question if you don't know the answer! I can tell you now......."I don't just turn up and do hair!" ;) There's lot more to my profession than that. Ask my brides! From the moment you enquire I make it my job to provide an excellent bespoke service to my bride. A small booking fee secures your date and you can be rest assured I will be there for your day. I stay in touch as often as you like, answering any questions promptly. We book in your hair trial which lasts 2-3 hours. We can try various looks, (I do not charge per style!) When I see your face light up then I know we have found 'The Style' I take notes and photos as a reference for your wedding morning also discussing bridesmaids and others in the parties requirements. I only use luxury products when styling, I offer my professional knowledge including advice on hair accessory and veil placement. I have an excessive stock of human hair clip-in extensions for brides to hire or purchase to add extra volume and/or length, colour- matched at the trial, I would say 80% of my brides wear my extensions to create the best look for their day. Also offering a selection of beautiful bridal hair accessories carefully sourced, I'm able to easily advise what suits your finished look these are also available to hire or purchase for your day. One of the most important things I do ( other than the hair!) is working out precise timings for your morning as sometimes the morning can start as early as 6am! I confirm with your make-up artist so we have a smooth running morning assuring you are all ready in plenty time to get into your dress and have a glass of bubbly plus a couple of photos form your professional photographer. I stay until your veil is in place and you are ready to walk down the isle. I've stayed in touch with many of my brides over the years and can honestly say I've enjoyed styling all my weddings.
