Meet my Great Uncle, Bob Clow. This weekend we skied alongside him as he put another year in the books to make it 69 consecutive years skiing Mammoth Mountain. At 92 years old, he sails down the mountain, drinks Coors Light daily, and is more full of life and positivity than anyone you’ll meet. And his stories, you should hear his stories...⠀ He began skiing on @mammothmountain before it officially was a mountain, back when skis were wooden and rope tows were the way to get up the hill. He has never missed a season on the mountain since and it’s beyond inspiring to watch him fly down the hill in perfect form - always with his trusty ski hat. Looking forward to many more years documenting him on the slopes and for the reminder to never stop really living your life. As Hunter S. Thompson famously said, “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ”Wow! What a ride!”.
