As a newly engaged babe, you’ll likely be experiencing an intoxicating mixture of emotions right now. While everyone you speak to will helpfully remind you that this should be the happiest time in your life, you will probably soon start feeling that inevitable wave of panic: ‘Oh goodness, we have so much to organise, so much to do, and so much to pay for!’ First of all, please realise that it’s perfectly normal to be a little bit scared and overwhelmed at this stage. I mean, you’ve probably never planned a wedding before and there’s a lot to get your head around. This is exactly why I wrote my book: To put all the questions I’d ever been asked, all the key pieces of advice I’ve ever shared, into one place. Seeing couples enjoying it, sharing photos on social media and most importantly, hearing that it’s really helped them with their wedding planning is SUCH a joy.
