Sometimes you don't really have anything profound to say, you just wanna post a photo of a cute row of houses. Instagram is rolling out hiding likes in the US soon and undoubtedly it'll come over to the UK shortly after that. What do you think of the idea? I'm personally excited to see what it'll mean for the platform and the content people share. We all know the sort of posts that get likes and the ones that end up never been published because they're not "insta worthy". I'm hoping it might mean we see some more creativity on these squares again because people won't always be posting the same old shit that always gets those fingers double tapping. I think we're allllll guilty of playing to the algorithm at times and I'm excited to find out what the change might mean!
