Finding out that my dad has lung cancer was one of the worst moments of my life. My world crumbled; I fell apart. I felt hopeless and confused and angry and sad and everything in between. He’s having treatment now and doing as well as he can be, but we’re just taking each day as it comes. Nothing is taken for granted in our family any more. When we launched Rock n Roll Bride Live, I was adamant that although primarily I wanted to make sure the event was fun and informative and a darn good time for everyone involved, I also wanted to use it to raise money for a charity close to my heart. I am so thrilled to announce that @cr_uk have come on board as our charity partner for the event and we’ll be raising money during the day for their life-saving research. You’ll be able to meet someone from their team, buy their wedding favours (a much better investment than sugared almonds any day!) and £2 from the sale of every ticket is being donated to them too. The work they do is so very important and whether you’ve been affected by cancer or not, it would mean the world to me if you joined us to help kick cancer’s butt!
