Being that today is the #nationaldayofprayer I wanted to share an image by #jennikupelian that reminds me how powerful prayer is. When a lot of people are praying together for one common thing, it can heal so many. “When two or more are gathered to pray He is there.” Prayer softens our heart and gives us hope, compassion and understanding especially during this time of uncertainity. Will you join me today in prayer? Can I pray for you? Leave your prayer intentions in my IG stories. I know, it can be hard to pray when you might frustrated, scared, or have no sense of control. So, there is one prayer that I always lean into during these times that I would love to share with you. I prayed it for 9 days straight and my worries went away. I hope it helps you too. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, Courage to change the things which should be changed, and the Wisdom to distinguish the one from the other. Living one day at a time, Enjoying one moment at a time, Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace, Taking, as Jesus did, This sinful world as it is, Not as I would have it, Trusting that You will make all things right, If I surrender to Your will, So that I may be reasonably happy in this life, And supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen.
