Em and her OH religiously review their budgets and set themselves new financial goals at the start of every month. Similarly, they do a big budget review at the end of every year and categorise all of their spending to see where they can save money and set themselves new savings goals for the next 12 months. Em likes to call it ‘mindful money’ and it's this way of thinking that eventually helped her rid herself of thousands of pounds of debt, how as a couple they bought their first house together and last year paid for their wedding (without the risk of sounding like Martin Lewis, LOL) IN FULL!
