Let there be Doc Martens for all at this blended-family, city-hall wedding

This wedding was a long time in coming for Jace and Michael - they met on their school bus in 1997! The couple celebrated their City Hall marriage with matching bow ties. Oh and their entire family matched each other with Doc Martens all around. Seriously, the familial love is off the charts in these photos. The family picnicked after the ceremony (props to the couple for showing off their cooking skills!), and then there are the most tender-hearted hugs I think I've ever seen.

Jace and Michael finished out the day, not with a dance or a cocktail hour, but just hanging out at a coffee shop listening to local artists, chilling with their people. But my favorite, FAVORITE part is hiding in the middle of all of it. It's a carefully-edited little sign propped up by a jar of crayons. Go look for it. It'll make your day, promise.
