Elegance and beauty is a combination like no other. It is a tangible piece of royalty that every person at some point get to experience. Jordaan and Chané had a glamorous wedding at the stunning boutique hotel Le Chatelat in Johannesburg. Christiaan David Photography captured the day in such stylish essence, that one cannot imagine it any other way.

We hosted a movie and pizza night and a mutual friend introduced us when we were still
in high school. The night when they left my house, Jordaan started texting me and we
started dating a couple of months later.

We were suppose to meet friends in Harties for dinner, but instead Jordaan arranged a
surprise weekend away at a beautiful boutique guest house in Hartbeespoort Dam, where
we went down on his his knee and proposed. The great night was followed by a very
early morning hot air balloon ride over the beautiful Hartbeepoort Dam and
Magaliesburg mountains. We have been dating for 9 years, but it was a complete
surprise. It was truly the best weekend in my life!

The entire day was memorable and more than perfect, making it hard to choose just one
moment. The ceremony was held in the beautiful garden of Le Chatelat and was filled
with lots of tears and much laughter and the presence of the Lord was overwhelming. It
was truly amazing and no words will ever be able to explain the feeling during that
moment. The reception was truly a feats, having one long table on the terrace covered in
flower arrangements, candles and sparklers. We had two great master of ceremonies who
managed to make all the formalities a bit less formal. Food was very imporatnt to us and
we made sure there was a wide selection, from artisan lollies to lamb shank, macaroons
and a cheese table. It was a perfect day and I can honestly say I won't change a thing.
The BEST day of my life and will do it all over again!

The night before the wedding day, sleep over somewhere where you won't be able to do
more work and planning and relax with your wedding party and loved ones. Have fun on
your wedding day, enjoy the entire day. Get someone to direct the wedding day and
handle the issues for you if there is any.
