Real Wedding: Emma & Matthew Dean

First up in our 'Share your wedding day' tales we have newly wed couple Mr and Mrs Matthew and Emma Dean. Happy to share the inside story of their spectacular day, Emma and Dean share their inspiration, ideas and wedding day, in the hope that you can gather more inspiration and share your story with us in the future. We got married on the 3rd May 2014, the service was held at the idyllic St Paul's church, Hereford and the reception was held at the Chase Hotel, Ross on Wye. Our service started at 12:30pm and it was amazing to see over 135 guests show up to celebrate our special day.

After a short walk down the aisle, a perfect kiss at the altar and a few pictures we travelled to Ross for our reception. Draped in glorious sunshine and clear blue skies, we were able to enjoy drinks and canapés on the lawn and speak to our guests before heading inside for our gorgeous meal. The meal was beautiful and was accompanied by a number of hilarious speeches, one in particular from the best man who was so nervous he didn't eat any of his meal and was shaking so much that he nearly ripped his speech in half!

After some private time with our photographer Dean, we went back in to the reception to cut our gorgeous 5 (yes FIVE!) tier cake and prepare for our evening celebrations. For the evening Doo we invited a further 40 guests to enjoy the after dinner celebrations with our gorgeous Purity evening invitation.

We had performances from both a band and a DJ set and we also splurged on a photo booth, which was enjoyed by so many and led to a number of amusing photos.

As the evening went on we opened up a buffet with our favourite delicacy of fish, chips and hot pork baps, before dancing the night away, finishing on "you'll never walk alone" - which is weird as we're Wolves supporters.

All in all, a perfect day.
