Surprise Romantic Sunset Cornwall Beach Proposal

Imagine heading to the beach at sunset with your soul mate, only to happen upon the most perfect setting. Live music, candlelight, a glass of bubbles and a perfect ring. SO romantic.

Luckily for us photographers Travers & Brown were there to capture the whole thing.

Yusuf tells us all about the proposal;

"I met Roshni through mutual friends and were friends for a while before we got into a relationship.With the proposal, I knew I wanted to do something really special for her and it was really important that we could capture it as well so we would always have the memory to look back on. I think it's very easy to sometimes forget what was said or how things happened especially when you are in the moment so I thought it would be really nice for Roshni to have some beautiful pictures and footage of that day to always look back on and one day share with our children!

I chose cornwall because I wanted to take her as close to abroad as I could without leaving the country, and when I found Watergate Bay online it seemed perfect. It was pretty difficult trying to organise everything without Roshni finding out, but luckily she had no idea. I told Roshni that I had to go down to Cornwall for a business meeting and we could make it into a trip away at the same time, so she had no idea.

I knew exactly how I wanted it to look like and was lucky enough to find Elle from Inspire Hire, who helped bring everyone together. I didn't have a chance to check that everything was in place before heading down to the beach, I fully trusted Elle and she didn't disappoint, it was just as I envisaged it.

I convinced Roshni to go for a sunset walk on the beach. I'm not entirely sure when she realised something was up but maybe it was the sofa, the singer or the photographer hiding behind the rock anyway it was a total surprise and when I finally got down on one knee and asked her to marry me, she said yes. As for plans for the wedding..we are already married! We planned our wedding in 8 weeks and got married on Nov 30^th at Belvoir Castle!"
