Portugal is a hugely popular destination wedding location- with an amazing variety of wonderful wedding venues on offer, it's easy to see why. We find that often couples gravitate toward the vineyard wedding venues that can be found here. Often with a good amount of guest accommodation on site, vineyards offer that homely feel where wedding parties are free to gather, relax and party. Quinta de Sant'Ana is a family run historic wine estate, located just half an hour from Lisbon airport and featuring amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Couples can choose from several areas to host their ceremony- the vineyard, wine cellar, or garden in front the main house being a few options. Approximately 30 guests can be accommodated on site, and for a reception meal the Quinta can cater to a maximum of 210 guests. Don't miss this amazing wedding we featured here.

Quinta do Convento is a former convent which is now a family owned private estate, spreading over roughly 40 hectares. The venue is located at the top of Montejunto Mountain, just 45 minutes from Lisbon. The Quinta has a rustic yet modern vibe with breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding countryside. The property has a mix of ancient and newer buildings. On-site guest accommodation consists of 13 rooms, and wedding receptions of up to 300 guests can be catered to (though the venue suggests it's possible to have an almost unlimited capacity with outdoor receptions in summer). L'And is a luxury vineyard resort that can hold events of up to 60 people. On site accommodation consists of 22 suites. Wedding ceremonies can be held outside in front of the lake and there is also a pool for guests to lounge around. The food is top quality with the L'And restaurant being awarded a Michelin star last year. The venue is located a little over two hours' drive south from Porto airport.
