Jessica, an illustrator, and Nick, a musician/designer, live in Brooklyn, New York, far away from family and some of their closest friends. They wanted to have their wedding in a place that was beautiful + meaningful - and convenient for their guests - so they settled on Grove Park Inn Country Club in Asheville, North Carolina for its location + beauty. We just love how they creatively incorporated their trades + talents into their beautiful woodland-inspired celebration. Let's hear more about how they did it from Jessica:
Nick and I both work in creative fields, so the wedding was a reflection of our creative spirits coming together. It felt really natural to be inspired by the organic beauty of the mountains and history of North Carolina, because we both incorporate so much of that in our work already. Illustrating the invitations, table numbers, and other paper goods made it feel so special and personal.Thanks so much to Brett & Jessica for sending this sweet wedding our way and big congrats to the newlyweds!

The reception was warm + inviting with woodsy wildflower centerpieces, terrariums bursting with greenery + moss, woven place settings and lots of apothecary jars with candles sprinkled in between.
