Emerald & Gold Wedding Inspiration

In the market for an elegant and sophisticated wedding color palette? Consider emerald and gold for a refined, regal vibe!

The grooms are usually outfitted in a gray suit and bow tie in one of the wedding's colors. But some grooms just want to have fun! Let more colorful personalities steal the show in an emerald green suit and neutral tie (above).

Brides can also wear this luxe shade either in some show-stopping jewelry and accessories (below, left) or by ditching the white gown in favor of something modern and dramatic (below, right).

Especially fetching on pale skin with cool undertones, true jewel-toned emerald can be such a flattering shade for brunettes! Go slightly more blue toned in your emerald dresses if you have a lot of blonde bridesmaids.

This emerald and gold tablescape below features gold flatware (a trend that has totally exploded in popularity) and golden mercury glass votives to give a little extra glow.

If you want gold to take center stage, use the green just as an accent. Below, the gold flatware and napkin tie rest above the deep emerald napkin and thin pinstripes on the table linens. Likewise, if you want a wedding that sparkles with emerald, just use gold touches here and there, such as in your chargers or the border in your table numbers (below, right).

One of the best parts about this color palette is how large of a role greenery can play in your wedding (and we love the simplicity of greenery). Pair large leaves (such as magnolia) with light, fluffy roses.

Or let the greenery dominate by using ivy or deep green ferns (below) in different sizes and textures. Place metallic votives along the perimeter, allowing them to peek through the foliage.

This stately invitation suite uses thick, emerald green paper and matching ink alongside a gold-foiled monogram. This style is perfect for the couple that wants a classic wedding, but still wants up-to-date details.
