Fine Art Anniversary Session in Paris

Fine Art Anniversary Session in Paris

via

We are smitten with today's fine art anniversary session in Paris by Gert Huygaerts Photography. Combining effortless style of our couple Melissa and Eu-Jin with romance, this enchanting session could be equally at home in the styled shoot section, and we LOVE it!

Melissa takes us through their love story and anniversary session: " Eu-Jin and I met in August 2010, 5 years now. We met at work where he was my manager and almost after a month we started dating. Even if restarted dating pretty soon, the courtship was about a year before we were official, so we did take our time.

Every year we love to travel together to explore different regions and get to know each other better and better. We've been to Italy, Melbourne and a few there places. It was in Melbourne that we spent a fair amount of time around and decided that we would have some fine art photographs taken as a keepsake for our memories. So when we we decided on this Europe trip which started out in Capri then Nice, Lyon and finally Paris for a week, we thought we should take advantage of the beautiful city of Paris, to have our photo-session. Just a few weeks before our trip, we started researching on photographers for our Paris trip. But looking at portfolios of the photographers, we realised fine art film photography fitted perfectly to our liking, very dreamy and soft. It was also Eu-Jin's birthday in June and mine in July, as well as our anniversary on the 23rd of July. So it was even more meaningful for us to have this session for remembrance. We enjoyed Paris very much, it was Eu-Jin's first time there but for me it was already the third time. Paris was very easy to adapt to, being a super romantic city with, lovely stress, nice restaurants with very fine and tasty food... everything you need for a nice time together. The photo session was also another way to appreciate the scenery in another dimension. When traveling together it isn't always easy to get good photos, so we took this one for granted... one never to forget. "
