While studying fashion design twelve years ago, Shanna used her free time to make evening gowns that were sold in a handful of exclusive boutiques. She finally discovered her passion for bridal wear after becoming engaged herself and, after working for two of London's top designers, she eventually started her own business seven years ago. In 2013 Shanna opened her own boutique on the High Street in Wimbledon Village.

'I love designing bridal dresses. I get to work with the most beautiful fabrics and working with my clients to create their dream dress is very special.' 'Meeting lots of different brides really inspires me. Discussing their different visions and working with a variety of personalities keeps me thinking of new ideas. I'm also inspired by new fabrics and I travel to Paris each year to visit different suppliers and purchase new samples.'

Shanna describes her signature style as classic and elegant, but she relishes the opportunity to create lots of different looks for her clients and says she is constantly thinking of new ideas.

'The collection I am currently working on is quite different to my previous designs. I am doing more hand beading and less structured dresses.'

Annabel and I are smitten! Prices range between £2000-£4000 and all gowns are made-to-measure. Everything is hand crafted by an experienced team in the workroom beneath the boutique and Shanna carries out all fittings herself. A toile fitting also enables you to see the shape and fit of your dress in cotton before the silk is cut, ensuring complete satisfaction.
