The New England Issue: Buying Guide

Written by: louise

Afternoon my loves! In our last post of The New England Issue I'm sharing some of my favourite props and wedding pretty for styling your day. With a clean navy & white palette and nautical influences I picked items with classic understated style with a hint of Hamptons homeliness. This sweet 'This Way to the I Do's' sign is a simple way to direct your guests to your ceremony. Anything stripy immediately adds a nautical vibe - from sweetie bags and straws to twine. These cute anchor charms could be added to favours, or tied onto stationery and work perfectly with our downloadable cake toppers from Itty Bitty & Bijou!

I love the idea of adding non-wedding items to your day too - pretty objects that you can use in your home for years to come that will always serve as a reminder of that wonderful day. Rowen the Wren is the cutest addition to a seaside wedding, while marble chopping boards provide the perfect surface to serve canape's, display cakes or cheeses to your guests.

It's an old trend, but a good one, using mason jars tied with a little twine is always a pretty way to display flowers with a rustic twist. Treat your guests to kraft paper wrapped favours, with navy velvet ribbons and these pretty stamped tags adding a touch of understated luxury to whatever you put inside.
