I honestly do not know where to begin with Tala and Arron's glamorous wedding day. Seriously - it is DIVINE.

If your idea of decor heaven is flowers and candles, then get ready to swoon. Every surface area is literally covered in roses, foliage and candles. Oh, and then there's the white sweet pea bouquet...

Tala looks stunning in a Monique Lhuillier gown, which somehow manages to be both sexy AND oh so Bridal. I love her hair too. Just look at it, as far as I'm concerned those are literally the perfect voluminous curls.

I love the Bridesmaid dresses too, such gorgeous shades of bluey-grey and all a different style suiting each lovely lady perfectly.

There is also an image captured by Lydia Stamps of Tala in the church with her Dad and Arron, which just perfectly captures the emotions of being given away. Look out for it - such a moving photograph.

Tala The Bride: I had seen a very similar dress on a celebrity in a magazine long before I got engaged and it was literally the first and only wedding dress that I have ever seen that I thought WOW and fell in love with. As is often the case, when you see a dress or outfit you love, it can never look anywhere near as good as you hope when you try it on. On this occasion the dress was everything that I hoped for - it was perfect! To me, it was elegant, fairytale like with a hint of sexy. I actually tried on the dress in a boutique in London but travelled to New York to Monique Lhullier's flagship store to purchase the dress. My veil was also by Monique Lhuillier.

My shoes were by Jimmy Choo. I borrowed my mother's diamond and pearl Annoushka earrings and on the morning of the wedding, Arron had given my mother a gift for me. It was the most beautiful David Morris diamond tennis bracelet that matched my wedding band.

Arron and his Best Man wore tailor made Morning Suits from Favourbrook on Jermyn Street. All the Groomsmen wore their own morning suits and we supplied matching grey double breasted waistcoats, light pink shirts with white contrast collar and cuffs, and tailor made royal blue ties with dotted skull and cross bones emblems.

The ceremony was held at St. Mary & St. Michael's Church in Trumpington, Cambridge. It was the only choice really ...I was baptised there and had always dreamed of being married there, it an absolutely beautiful church in a small village.

We actually had booked another venue up until 6 months before the wedding but we were let down by the venue owners on too many occasions to risk continuing with them. So, we threw caution to the wind and started looking for another one. When Wimpole Hall became available, we knew it was meant to be! It is a National Trust site with the most beautifully manicured garden, full of flowers and greenery and huge oak trees surrounded by fields. They allowed us to use the whole garden space and our own marquee. We didn't want to be tied into the venue's caterers and suppliers and they were so accommodating, basically telling us "the place is yours!"

I didn't want to have a colour scheme in place as it isn't really my style to have everything matching. I like the concept of mix and match, shabby chic intertwined with elegance. Having said that, my Bridesmaids all wore shades of light grey/silvery blue.

Our flowers were a mix of pink, cream, white with green ivy and other foliage. Flowers and candles were the main table decoration. We had a combination of high and low table arrangements. There were wrought iron candelabras bound in ivy with candles mixed with delphiniums, roses, ivy, stocks, and hydrangeas. We also had cream birdcages that were intertwined with more beautiful flowers and foliage and candles, with plenty more night tea lights! We had slate hearts as our place settings which doubled up as our wedding favours.

We had a 'chill out' area and mirrored bar in the marquee with aged mirrored coffee tables, white sofas, and poser tables. There were lots of hurricane lamps and storm candles scattered around the marquee and lawn which looked incredible as the sun went down.

Instead of a guest book we had 3 meter high wooden letters (T & A) that were placed on a plinth inside the marquee that guests were invited to write messages on in indelible pen. We have now these initials in our house - a wonderful reminder of a fab day and our friends and family well wishes.

My bouquet was stunning and very simple. It was a bouquet of white hydrangeas and cream coloured sweet peas. The reason we chose Miranda Fairhurst was because I just loved her style of flower arrangement. I have a passion for flowers so I wanted them to feature heavily in our wedding. The church was just the most magical scene ever. We had beautiful arches of roses, hydrangeas and ivy. The 4 central columns in the church were loosely and randomly bound with ivy and flowers. At the front of the church we had 2 five-meter beech trees that arched over, they were also decorated with flowers. We also had over 100 candles scattered around the church that were set in moss. The aisle floor was scattered with lavender heads that gave off the most wonderful scent.

I didn't want my Bridesmaids to wear matching dresses, as I wanted their personality to come through in the dress and for them to also feel comfortable. For that reason, Lizi wore a stunning floor length Adrianna Papell beaded gown, Amy also wore a floor length Adrianna Papell beaded gown, Genevieve wore short tulle dress by J.Crew and Golnar wore an organza one-shouldered dress by Thread.

I walked down the aisle to a pianist playing 'Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire' my favorite film of all time. One of the readings in church was the lyrics from a Led Zeppelin song ('Thank You'). When signing the register an a cappella choir from Cambridge sang 'More Than A Feeling' by Boston and 'You're the Voice' by Jon Farnham, we exited the church to 'Waiting For A Star To Fall' by Boy meets Girl; these are all really personal songs to us.

But, what was the most amazing thing was being surrounded by so many loved ones, who had made incredible efforts from all over the world to join us. Seeing everyone else enjoying themselves as much as we did was really very special. Arron said that without a doubt, without question, waiting for me to walk down the aisle and then seeing me for the first time, as I was about to become his wife. That is something he said he will never, ever forget. It was perfect.

I am half Persian so I really wanted to incorporate that part of me into the day, so we had Persian food for the wedding breakfast. And we both love espresso vodka so we served a shot with the dessert.We actually had a 'faux' wedding cake, purely for the photo opportunity of cutting it. However, in appearance, it looked exactly the same as the wedding cake that was served to all guests, which was being prepared behind the scenes. We chose The Hummingbird Bakery Red Velvet Cake. The fact that we over ordered and there was still no leftovers speaks for itself.

Our photographer was Lydia Stamps and I can't recommend her highly enough. From the moment we met on Skype, to our Engagement Shoot, to her fantastic demeanour on the wedding day...she was so calming and fun loving. She captured the day exactly as we wanted. Nothing forced or posy...just a perfect visual story of our day. Lydia makes you forget there's a lens there and makes the whole visual memory natural.

We knew it was never going to be easy, organising a wedding in UK from over 3,000 miles away. But Julia and her team at Snapdragon Parties were so organised, so understanding and listened and understood everything we wanted. From the very first meeting, she embraced all of our ideas, added to them and was enthusiastic at every junction.

Finally enjoy every moment of the day and savour it, it quite literally is the best day of your life and goes too quickly. Embrace the organising and planning as difficult and perhaps as stressful as it might get, you will miss it when it is over!
