I tried to teach my son to crochet. Like most boys, he was quite sceptical about the idea but when I showed him Crochet Converse Slippers he might be able to make one day, he grabbed a hook and passionately started learning how to make a chain.

Yet, if your kids are not ready for the crochet adventure you can always start with something easier, for example weaving. The owner of Art Bar came up with a simple way of Weaving With Kids. Weaving involves using a loom, so first we need to get started with producing one with the use of cardboard, and then kids choose their favourite yarn colours and they are ready to weave their small rugs.
