Thinking of getting married? Your first action is to get a bride! Well, that would have been sorted that's why you are considering wedding in the first place.

Weddings is one of the most glorious days of your ( the couples) lives together, if it's to be as glorious as anticipated then due diligence should be observed in the planing while you are also meant to enjoy the planning process. Proper planing is key and cant be over emphasized. Wedding is 60% planning and 40% actions and expenses.

Foremost consideration is to realize the order of importance of the individuals; you and your spouse first, core family, and then guest; in that hierarchy. You have to reasonably seek you and your spouse happiness and satisfaction before any other thing. Thus your outfits, cakes, photography, decorations are the most important things because those are going to touch you directly. This will be well sorted by considering your financial strength(without family input) when you have considered this then you can move to the next step.

An idea of what your dream wedding should be discussed between the couple, the likely wedding theme(colors and setting), if it's a destination wedding, a garden wedding, beach wedding or a conventional hall wedding thus a solid idea be laid down; which leads to event list. The list of what you want for the wedding including what to buy or vendors you are likely to patronize should be made. This list should be updated frequently and notes of development made accordingly. Get a list of your desired vendors and possible backups in case your initial choice is not what you thought they were or the vendor is already booked.

Visit the vendors and describe your choice of wedding idea. Be open to ideas while not being too wavy in your decision, the truth is that a professional vendor will have ideas( old ideas that can be engineered) to make your wedding as original as ever. In my years as a bespoke suit designer; my happiest grooms are those that listens and are willing to express their desire while we are discussing about their suits.

The nature of your wedding will determine what style of suit you are meant to wear as a groom. A tuxedo is not appropriate for a beach wedding etc. If your wedding is likely to flow into the evening then a tuxedo will do,if you are not a style savvy person keep your look simple( but not shabby).Discussing with your stylist/designer will help alot;the first question I ask my client (as a stylist) is "what is the wedding theme", when am equipped with this information; ideas flows and we rub minds till a conclusion is reached.the cost of what to wear is secondary the style is primary.

Well, it will be proper to add this that while brides should be allowed to choose their gowns (without interference); such courtesy should be accorded to the groom to choose his style of clothing (spouse advice needed but not enforced).

Now you have your vendors sorted out and you have an idea of what it will take, then deposit and execution is next. All the major items you need should be set a month before the wedding: attire ( both traditional and formal),the wedding ring, the cake design(and payment made),the hall and the decoration, invitations etc. Sorting all this ahead like a month allows you to remember tiny details that you might have omitted in the whole process.

Well your wedding day is here the only advice to give is to smile, enjoy the day and keep a steady temperament ( what ever you haven't covered by that day doesn't worth fretting over).
