Wedding Hairstyles for Bridesmaids

Whether you are a bridesmaid or the bride, choosing hairstyles for weddings can be a lot more stressful than it should be. I have searched high and low and have gathered some of the most stunning hairstyles for you or your bridal party. Not only are they absolutely beautiful but they are absolutely do-able! Scroll down to see some of our favorite, simple hairstyles here at my wedding and save this post for the next time you are in a wedding and want to stun everyone with some fabulous hair.

1. The braid crown

If you can braid you can accomplish this simple and timeless look. Don't worry about the braid being perfect; an imperfect braid gives the hairstyle character and a unique touch. Tutorial from Keiko Lynn.

2. The vintage wave

Even if you don't have naturally wavy hair you can pull off this look and trick everyone into thinking you are no amateur to the perfect elegant wave. This look can work on short or long hair and is great for indoor or outdoor events. Tutorial from Gent and Beauty.

3. The messy bun

Let's face it - when we see the perfect messy bun we all get a little jealous. Curl the loose pieces and use some bobby pins or flowers to add a formal touch to your up-do. Tutorial from imgfav.com

4. The head band chignon

This look is one of my favorites. You can dance the night away and not have to worry about your hair, and in fact it will probably look just as good if not better than it did at the beginning of the night. This hairstyle accentuates the free spirit in you and is absolutely gorgeous when paired with a beaded headband. Tutorial from Treasures and Travel and Camille Styles.

5. The sock bun

This hairstyle can be accomplished in 5 minutes or less and looks like it took hours. Begin with smoothing down your hair (to prevent flyaways) and have some product or hairspray handy to blend in those stubborn pieces. Ideal look for an elegant affair. Tutorial from Beautylish.

6. The beach wave

For those curly head goddesses, embrace your curl! Avoid using a brush or comb the day of the wedding. Use a diffuser to dry your beautiful locks or let it dry naturally and then take a tiny amount of bees wax to a couple of the curls you want to accentuate or control. Less is more here. For those ladies with straight hair, don't forget to grab your 1" curling iron to help you out with this look. You can always add a little extra product to add volume and to help the wave last through the day. Tutorial from Little Miss Momma or Not Your Standard.

7. The French twist

Again, this look is classic and fairly easy to pull off. Have lots of bobby pins and some hair spray handy when trying this look out. Practice a couple times beforehand and then you will have more confidence when it comes time to really shine. A little secret-this is a great look if you are trying to hide some split ends! Tutorial from Oncewed.

8. The French braid or fishtail braid

Tease your hair before beginning to braid and leave the pieces loose as you begin weaving them into a braid. You can also bring it to the side to really make it a flattering look. Tutorials from Oncewed and The Wonderful Forest.

9. The fancy pony

This hairstyle screams chic! If you don't have time color your roots before the wedding or if you are a pro at rockin' the ombre, this look would totally complement your already gorgeous locks. Tutorial from The Beauty Department or One Wed.

10. Half and half

Half up and half down, it's as simple as that. Add some curls to enhance volume and body. Tutorial from Irrelephant.
